The 10th Advanced Technologies Forum was held on 16 and 17 September at the Science and Technology Park Niš, bringing together representatives of the business sector, academia, public institutions, the startup ecosystem, and international organisations around the theme “TechIntelligence: Transforming Industry for the Intelligent Age.”
Over the course of two days, through keynote speeches, panel discussions, conversations, B2B meetings, and numerous networking opportunities, the Forum addressed key issues shaping the future of industry – from the application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, through innovation and business transformation, to talent development, entrepreneurship, and cooperation with international partners.
The programme was delivered across four thematic stages, featuring more than 15 panel discussions and keynote sessions, with a strong focus on connecting companies, innovators, researchers, startups, and talent. B2B meetings created new business contacts and opened opportunities for concrete cooperation, while the Talent & Career Arena and Startup Zone connected young professionals and startup teams with companies, investors, and other stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem.
One of the key topics highlighted at the Forum was the role of knowledge and the academic community in creating innovation. Through discussions involving representatives of universities, companies, and institutions, participants explored how research results can be transformed into applicable solutions and how stronger links can be built between science and the needs of industry.
The Forum also provided an opportunity to recognise individuals and organisations contributing to the development of advanced technologies and the innovation ecosystem. During the closing day, the Engineer Vladimir Jasić Award, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia – Regional Chamber of Commerce for the Nišava, Pirot and Toplica Districts Award for Companies, the “Bratislav Milovanović” Recognition, as well as awards for contributions to the Forum, were presented.
The two-day programme was marked by numerous meetings, exchanges of knowledge and ideas, and new connections extending beyond the event itself. The 10th edition of the Forum once again demonstrated the importance of connecting business, science, institutions, and talent in creating the conditions for innovation and a more competitive industry.
The Advanced Technologies Forum was organised by the Science and Technology Park Niš, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia – Regional Chamber of Commerce for the Nišava, Pirot and Toplica Districts, Serbian Association of Economists, National Employment Service, NiCAT Cluster, NALED, and the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Niš.
