Companies from Southeast Serbia have a new opportunity to develop their businesses, advance their digital and green transformation, and connect with new markets.
Within the framework of the “Scaling the Regions” – RESCALE project, a Public Call for the Selection of Business Entities to Participate in the Project has been launched. The call is intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises seeking to improve their operations and take the next step in their development.
The Science Technology Park Niš is a partner in the RESCALE project, which is implemented under the INTERREG VI-A IPA Bulgaria–Serbia Programme 2021–2027, with a focus on strengthening economic competitiveness and supporting companies in the cross-border area.
Through the programme, selected companies will have access to support in areas that are becoming increasingly important for business growth and competitiveness:
● Business internationalisation – support for companies in preparing to enter new markets and develop new business opportunities;
● Digital transformation – improvement of business processes and the implementation of digital solutions;
● ESG and green transformation – support in introducing more sustainable and responsible business practices;
● Improvement of tourism services – development and enhancement of products and services in the tourism sector.
The programme is intended for business entities operating in the Nišava, Toplica, Pirot, Jablanica, Pčinja, Bor and Zaječar districts, creating additional opportunities for companies and organisations from the region to connect with partners and access opportunities beyond their local markets.
In addition to supporting the development of individual companies, RESCALE aims to contribute to strengthening the regional innovation and business ecosystem, fostering cross-border cooperation, and creating conditions for more sustainable business growth in the border regions of Serbia and Bulgaria.
The application deadline is 30 November 2026.
