About the program
What is the DISCOVER program?
Intended for individuals and teams who are just starting out. The focus is on developing and shaping the idea, understanding the problem and users, and initial validation of the concept. This phase represents an entry point into the startup ecosystem and preparation for the Build program.

Value proposition and Lean methodology
We formulate the problem you are solving, define the users, and build a clear value proposition.
Lean Canvas
We develop the Lean Canvas as the first structured framework of the future startup – we define resources, channels, partners, revenue, and growth mechanisms.
Prototyping and early testing
The goal is not to get a perfect product, but to quickly test hypotheses. We start the first tests with users to check whether the solution makes market sense.
Mentor and expert support
During the program, pre-incubation participants have regular individual consultations with the STP team, in order to avoid common beginner mistakes and progress faster.
Networking and community
Teams become part of the STP Niš community – member companies, students, organizations, and regional partners, through events and joint activities.
Preparation for financing
With the support of the STP Niš team, teams prepare documentation and applications for programs such as: Smart Start, Raising Starts, StarTech (Lot 1), as well as relevant EU programs.
Infrastructure
Free access to the STP Niš coworking space (in accordance with the capacities).
Moving to the next phase
At the end of the cycle, a formal assessment of the maturity of the team and the concept is carried out. Teams that meet the criteria receive a recommendation for entry into the program for startups in the early stage of development.

What do you get after finishing?
Entry into the Build program / early stage startup within STP Niš.
At the end of the pre-incubation, the maturity of the team and the concept is assessed. Teams that meet the criteria receive a recommendation for entry into the early stage startup program.
