The Second Info Day was Held, with the Presentation of the Public Call for Innovative Solutions for Decarbonization Contributing to the Just Green Transition in Serbia

UNDP Serbia has announced a Public Call for innovative solutions for decarbonization contributing to the just green transition in Serbia in partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Mining and Energy within the “Just Green Transition and Decarbonization in Serbia” financed by the Government of Japan.

For that occasion, the Second Info Day was held in STP Niš, realized in a hybrid format, with the goal of presenting this Public Call. Attendees were able to find out which goals need to be accomplished, as well as what benefits there are and what they can expect in the further realization of the project itself.

The suggested solutions need to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission and the reduction of environment pollution, encourage the development of new branches of economy, and enable the retraining of workers from sectors based on the use of fossil fuel. 🌿

The ones who can apply for the Public Call are public and private companies registered in the Republic of Serbia individually or as a consortium. If it is a consortium, companies from Japan and the European Union doing business in Serbia can also take part, as well as scientific research organizations, institutions, and companies from the private and the public sector in Serbia.

You can find more information about the Public Call on the UNDP Serbia website.
