Science and Technology Park Niš participated in the Green Transition 6.0 Forum, held in Sofia, which brought together representatives of science and technology parks, startup ecosystems, and regional partners from across Southeast Europe.
As a member of the Alliance of Science and Technology Parks of Southeast Europe, Science and Technology Park Niš actively took part in discussions on strengthening regional cooperation and accelerating the development of innovation ecosystems.
Within the panel “Innovation Bridges – Building a Connected Tech and Startup Ecosystem in South East Europe,” Ivan Pavlović, Assistant Director of STP Niš, presented the vision for the development of STP Niš by 2030, with a special focus on connecting research, startups, and industry, as well as on strengthening the international competitiveness of the regional ecosystem.
During the panel, key issues related to the development of innovation ecosystems in the region were discussed, including:
- which development directions hold the greatest potential within our ecosystems,
- what represents the most underutilized potential of regional cooperation,
- what is currently slowing down faster development and stronger connectivity among ecosystems in Southeast Europe, and what is the most important step towards creating a truly connected regional innovation space.
One of the key messages of the panel was that Southeast Europe needs a clear mechanism that transforms cooperation and connectivity into concrete projects, transactions, and sustainable growth.
STP Niš’s participation in this event represents a continuation of its strategic commitment to strengthening regional partnerships and developing an innovation ecosystem that, by 2030, will be even more connected, resilient, and internationally visible.
