Startup Breakfast: How to improve a personal business through programs by the National Employment Agency

Whether you are someone only starting out in business, an experienced entrepreneur and employer, or someone in need of a job, searching through the program from the National Employment Service (“Nacionalna Služba za Zapošljavanje” – NSZ) database is always the first step towards the possibility of realizing a part of the financial support.

This year, the NSZ published 12 public calls/contests, through which a total of 6,5 billion dinars will be dedicated as financial support for employers.

The focus will be primarily on persons more difficult to employ, such as: young people of up to 30 years of age, people without secondary education, people older than 50, Romani, people with disabilities, people with long-term unemployment, recipients of financial aid, and people having the status of a surplus of employees.

Most of the public calls/contests will be open until November 30, 2022, while the Public Call for granting subsidies for self-employment will be open until March 31, 2022 for which you can apply electronically as well.

At the forthcoming Startup Breakfast, we will hear more information on participation in active employment policy measures and current aid programs for entrepreneurs from Boban Matić, director of the NSZ Niš branch, and Vanja Stojković, deputy director of the NSZ Niš branch.

How to develop a good business model for your startup?

STP Niš workshop: How to develop a good business model for your startup?

The good news is that there are more and more funds and programs providing all-encompassing support during their development and also encompasses significant financial support aside from the necessary expert support.

Aside from getting informed about possible financing sources, it is necessary to get informed about how to write a good application, how to get insight into all key points of business, which tools are available for developing the business model, etc.

For December 16, the Science and Technology Park has organized the intensive “How to develop a good business model for your startup?” training precisely on this topic.

You will have the opportunity to get a good overview of your business and, among other things, get a good basis for preparing a successful application for available programs and funds.

The training is dedicated to developing key elements for startup business model development and will be open for anyone interested in addition to STP Niš members.
