STP Niš Meetup: Contemporary HR concepts in practice

HR management is growing in importance through the development of the new philosophy of companies which places employees first. The intellectual capital has become the most significant resource and the main weapon for the survival and the development of a company. And the battle for talents has never been more challenging!

People employed in HR of a company perform a whole portfolio of activities – from selecting suitable candidates for jobs, introducing new employees to what is expected of them, all the way to their socialization. Aside from this, the HR also creates a culture of organization, motivates employees, and creates possibilities for constant learning.

It is important to highlight the significance of the active role of HR in creating the best possible experience of employees, as well as the significance of following the latest trends in HR practice. That is why we will place a special focus on employer branding, online recruitment, and psychological support programs as popular HR concepts.

People who will speak about their experiences are:

  • Aleksandar Milinčić, Partner & Managing Director @ Vega IT Niš
  • Dušan Kostadinović, Talent Acquisition Manager @Coca Cola HBC
  • Bojana Filipović, Specialist for Training and Development and HR business partner @ Infostudgrupa

Startup Breakfast: From an entrepreneurial endeavor to a business group, exemplified by the Infostud Group

For Friday, April 8, we have prepared a Startup Breakfast for you where our guest will be the founder of the Infostud Group, CEO & Co-Owner Branimir Gajić!

We will talk with the Infostud founder about the path of an idea which started from a “garage”, and today is a group of 6 businesses in 3 fields with 280 employees on the Serbian market. Branimir will talk to us about what they have learned, what their greatest successes and errors were, which phases the company went through, and how much technology has influenced their development.

Branimir Gajić graduated from the Faculty of Economy in Subotica. At the age of fifteen, he started working as a member of a youth community first, and during his studies he did lots of jobs, from selling telephones and insurances, publishing local newspapers, and holding practice lessons to students. His first job was in the ProCredit bank where he started from the position of a loan officer and reached the position of the Regional Director for Vojvodina. During that time, he initiated an entrepreneurial project with his sister Branislava Gajić Stanojević and his partner Stefan Salo, known today as the “Infostud Group.” Today, it is a company that has 280 employees and a portfolio of businesses – from education and employment, through selling cars and real estate, to insurance.
