Science and Technology Park Niš and SaaStanak are organizing their second meetup in Niš. This time, we are focusing on what collaboration with large corporations really looks like and what it takes to earn their trust.
The guest of the event is Andrija Smiljanić, Founder and CEO of Varius. Andrija has led projects for some of the world’s biggest brands, such as Samsung, Visa, Pfizer, and Davidoff. He brings experience from environments where there is no room for mistakes and where client expectations are always at the highest level.
Through a conversation led by Marija Mladenović, you will learn how large clients evaluate your team before deciding to work with you. We will talk about why reliable delivery is more important than any single software feature and how to build partnerships that last for years. You will also learn how to prepare your processes for highly demanding projects and how to make your team ready for the biggest players on the market.
This meetup is ideal for startups and teams that want to take their business to the next level and learn how to build credibility with the most demanding clients.

What will the future of mobility look like and what place can Niš occupy on the global map when it comes to autonomous vehicles?
As part of the Urban Mobility Week, on Thursday, September 18, from 11 am, at the Science and Technology Park Niš, we are bringing together experts and the community to discuss important topics – from the potential that our city and our region have, through the obstacles that stand in the way of their development, to the first steps towards the implementation of autonomous mobility demo projects.
We will also pay special attention to the question of how ready Niš is for the responsible testing of autonomous vehicles and what is needed to make that leap. The event will also be attended by representatives of relevant institutions, representatives of the NAAEV Board of Directors, as well as professors from the faculties of the University of Niš who develop and implement AI solutions in robotics and autonomous systems, which will give the discussion additional depth and an expert perspective on the next steps.
Join us for a conversation about how technology can shape the cities of the future and where Niš can find its place in that discussion.
The event is organized by the Science and Technology Park Niš in cooperation with the City of Niš.

On Wednesday, October 15th at 11 AM, the Science and Technology Park Niš will host the Info Day of the “S4AI Hub – Serbian European Digital Innovation Hub on AI” project.
The event will present activities and opportunities within the first public call for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to submit business problems and challenges that can be solved by applying innovative technological solutions.
S4AI Hub is the official European Digital Innovation Hub in Serbia, which supports MSMEs in digital transformation processes through the application of artificial intelligence and Industry 5.0 technologies. The program provides free professional services and consulting for the development of digital solutions.
The public call to be presented is about the use of the service “Innovation Camp for Digital Transformation”, which involves intensive work with a team of experts to understand the current position of the company, the opportunities for the application of digital technologies, the formation of an initial challenge, and the development of the first project idea for digitalization – based on an assessment of the needs and digital maturity of the user.
The aim of the call is to develop and elaborate on an initial version of the idea of a MSME digitalization project. During the implementation of the service, participants will work on understanding the current state of their own business in the context of digitalization, identifying opportunities for the application and implementation of new digital technologies, recognizing technologies that enable the development of new and improvement of existing products and services, understanding the impact of digitalization on business, value proposition, and competitiveness, as well as identifying challenges and uncertainties that need to be tested before investment and implementation.
