The Science and Technology Park Niš was visited by the Minister of Telecommunications and Information, Prof. Boris Bratina, who got acquainted with the work of the Park, its member companies, as well as with the key development projects implemented by the Park on that occasion.
During the meeting, special focus was on the S4AI Hub project, which the Science and Technology Park Niš is implementing together with partners, with the support of the Digital Europe program. This project aims to strengthen the capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of digital transformation, through the application of artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and advanced digital solutions.

During the conversation, topics that shape the strategic direction of the development of the technological community in Niš were also discussed – from the initiative to establish a data center and strengthen information infrastructure, to creating the prerequisites for new forms of cooperation between the state, the academic sector and the economy. Minister Bratina emphasized the importance of Niš as a growing technology center and expressed the Ministry’s readiness to support the implementation of projects that contribute to further strengthening the innovation potential of the region.
The Technis – Niš Innovation District initiative, which aims to connect the university, scientific and research institutions, the economy and the City of Niš into a single ecosystem that encourages research, development and application of advanced technologies, was highlighted as a particularly important topic. In this context, the future development of joint infrastructures, open laboratories and international partnerships was discussed.
