Science and Technology Park Niš announces a Public Call for the admission of new members, with the aim of further developing the innovation ecosystem, supporting the growth of innovative companies, and putting into use the Park’s new infrastructural, professional, and programme capacities.

The Call is intended for teams, startups, technology development companies, research and development centres, scientific research organisations, as well as other organisations whose work contributes to the development of innovation, technology entrepreneurship, and the knowledge-based economy.

Membership in STP Niš provides access to modern infrastructure, office, laboratory and other business space, professional services developed through support programmes, events, networking, partner benefits, and other resources relevant to the development of innovative business.

The Public Call includes two main categories of membership:

Regular Membership

Regular membership is intended for entities that wish to use office, laboratory or other business space within the Science and Technology Park Niš facility, with access to the Park’s infrastructural, professional and programme services.

Candidates from the following categories may apply for regular membership:

Startups, including:

• students, researchers, individuals and young entrepreneurs developing an innovative idea, informal startup teams and teams in the pre-incubation phase;
• early-stage startups;
• mature-stage startups;
•  growing innovative startup companies, i.e. scale-up companies.

This category is intended for teams and companies developing new products, services, processes or technological solutions, with the potential for growth, market validation, commercialisation, and entry into domestic and international markets.

Development Centres, including:

• development centres of domestic and foreign companies;
• accredited scientific research organisations;
• providers of business development services in areas relevant to innovation activity;
•  partner business support organisations.

This category is intended for entities that, through research and development, the application of new technologies, knowledge transfer, specialised services, projects and partnerships, contribute to strengthening the innovation ecosystem and the competitiveness of the economy.

Virtual Membership

Virtual membership is intended for startups, technology development companies and innovative teams that do not require the permanent use of their own office space at STP Niš, but wish to be part of the Park’s community and use its professional, infrastructural, programme and networking capacities.

Virtual members gain access to support programmes, events, mentoring and advisory services, networking, membership benefits, as well as the use of shared spaces, halls, laboratories and other STP Niš resources under preferential conditions.

Who Can Apply?

The Public Call is open to:

• informal teams, students, researchers and individuals with an innovative idea;
•  newly established startups and startups in different stages of development;
• micro, small and medium-sized enterprises developing or commercialising innovative solutions;
• domestic and foreign companies with research and development capacities;
• accredited scientific research organisations;
• providers of specialised business, advisory, technical, legal, financial and other services relevant to the innovation ecosystem;
•  partner organisations, institutions and legal entities that contribute to the development of innovation, technological development, entrepreneurship, and cooperation between science and industry.

By becoming members of the Science and Technology Park Niš, companies, teams and organisations become part of a community that connects knowledge, technology, infrastructure and the market.

Members receive support in product and business model development, access to expertise and mentors, infrastructure, connections with partners, investors, the academic community and other companies, as well as the opportunity to participate in programmes, events and activities that contribute to growth and further internationalisation of their business.

STP Niš invites all interested teams, companies and organisations developing innovative solutions and wishing to grow in a dynamic technological environment to apply to the Public Call and become part of the Science and Technology Park Niš community.
