{"id":3557,"date":"2023-03-24T17:20:18","date_gmt":"2023-03-24T17:20:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ntp.rs\/dogadjaji\/startap-dorucak-specijal-prodaja-nije-bauk\/"},"modified":"2023-03-24T17:23:07","modified_gmt":"2023-03-24T17:23:07","slug":"startap-dorucak-specijal-prodaja-nije-bauk","status":"publish","type":"dogadjaji","link":"https:\/\/ntp.rs\/en\/dogadjaji\/startap-dorucak-specijal-prodaja-nije-bauk\/","title":{"rendered":"Startup Breakfast Special: Sales is not a Boogeyman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Neboj\u0161a Bjelotomi\u0107, director of the \u201cDigital Serbia Initiative\u201d, will be our interlocutor at the first Startup Breakfast special at STP Ni\u0161, on Tuesday, March 28 at 11:00.<\/p>\n<p>Recognizing the importance of improving business skills and strengthening the companies\u2019 competitiveness, the Science and Technology Park Ni\u0161 and EU Info Point Ni\u0161 jointly launch a special edition of the Startup Breakfast, where various useful topics for all entrepreneurs and innovators will be discussed.<\/p>\n<p>Sales is an extremely important skill for the survival and development of startups, and the topic of the event was imposed by itself \u2013 \u201cSales is not a Boogeyman.\u201d Given that the \u201cDigital Serbia Initiative\u201d submits an annual report on the state of the domestic startup ecosystem \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.preduzmi.rs\/startap-skener\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Startup Scanner<\/a>, and according to current data, the most common areas in which startup founders hired new team members in 2022 were sales (32.0%) and marketing (29.1%). These results are in line with last year\u2019s startup goals, when \u201csales growt2 and \u201cuser number growth\u201d were two of the three key development priorities in the startup ecosystem. From the employment plans in 2023, we see that, in addition to the employment of programmers, sales (51.5%) and marketing (49.1%) are still the most represented areas. These were but a few of the reasons why we considered Bjelotomi\u0107 to be an ideal interlocutor.<\/p>\n<p>Neboj\u0161a graduated as a scholar from Boston University, started his career in an American startup, and after returning to Serbia, he worked at IBM, then at Fujitsu Siemens, where he reached a position from which he managed business in the entire region very quickly. He continued his education with a master\u2019s degree in management and marketing and became the director of the Printec company. At the beginning of October 2021, he assumed the position of director of the non-governmental and non-profit organization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dsi.rs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cDigital Serbia Initiative\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As a business angel, Bjelotomi\u0107 supported domestic startup teams in their efforts to expand on the world market and directly participated in four investments amounting to half a million euros in total.<\/p>\n<p>Join us and be part of this interesting conversation, ask questions to our guest and hear the expert observations and experience of a man who has been dedicatedly working on the development of our startup and innovation ecosystem for years.<\/p>\n<p>You can apply <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/VJwTcez75N3xXJH9A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a> to attend the event.<\/p>\n<p><em>The startup breakfast special is dedicated to the European Year of Business Skills and is jointly organized by the EU Info Point and STP Ni\u0161.
