{"id":5428,"date":"2025-04-09T09:03:09","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T09:03:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ntp.rs\/?post_type=aktuelnosti&#038;p=5428"},"modified":"2025-06-03T12:04:57","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T12:04:57","slug":"climate-change-and-innovations-in-the-focus-of-events-at-stp-nis","status":"publish","type":"aktuelnosti","link":"https:\/\/ntp.rs\/en\/aktuelnosti\/climate-change-and-innovations-in-the-focus-of-events-at-stp-nis\/","title":{"rendered":"Climate Change and Innovations in the Focus of Events at STP Ni\u0161"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An event focused on the increasingly topical issue of climate change and innovation was held at the Science and Technology Park Ni\u0161, organized by STP Ni\u0161, the company AdverCity and the Young Ambassadors organization.<\/p>\n<p>A special part of the program was dedicated to a lecture by Jaroslav Efimov, head of the Climate Change Sector at Palm Tech, who emphasized the importance of linking innovation with climate policy, as well as the importance of developing and implementing climate technologies in modern society.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the event, representatives of the Science and Technology Park Ni\u0161 presented the results of the Be Ready project, which focuses on solving climate challenges in urban areas of the Danube region. The event was opened by Milo\u0161 Grozdanovi\u0107, Assistant Director for Business Development at STP Ni\u0161, who presented the park\u2019s activities in the field of climate change adaptation.<\/p>\n<p>Milan Krstev, the project assistant for the Be Ready project, presented the methodology and objectives of the project with a special focus on the problem of urban heat islands (UHI). The presentation highlighted the approach that includes the so-called \u201cgreen\u201d, \u201cwhite\u201d and \u201cblue acupuncture\u201d \u2013 interventions based on vegetation, innovative materials and the use of water resources.
